About Dr. Tee Chee Sian

Biographical Sketch:

Dr. Tee Chee Sian is a consultant general as well as a liver surgeon, specializing in hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery. Dr. Tee Chee Sian acquired his MD in the year 2000 from the University of Mumbai. In the year 2010, he completed his master degree in surgery from the University of Malaya. Since graduating as a general surgeon from the University of Malaya, Dr. Tee has been aggressively trained in both benign and oncological surgeries; these include breast and endocrine diseases, bowel related malignancies like small bowel and colorectal cancers. Despite the above achievement, his desire for higher training has uniquely led him to further his training locally in Malaysia (Selayang Hospital) as well as overseas (Liver unit, King’s college hospital, London; Liver transplant unit, Changgung Memorial hospital, Kaohsiung) in order to provide comprehensive care to patients with HPB diseases. This includes benign and malignant diseases of the liver and biliary system, either through endoscopic (ERCP), minimally invasive or open surgery.   He provides invaluable resources to the community, for both surgical and non-surgical treatments in the field of general surgery, gallbladder, pancreas and liver disorders. He is capable of offering patients and referring doctors a balanced view of current treatment option and long term follow up to optimize outcomes.
